The QuickPick Figures by New World Graphics is a
HTML Interface
that works in conjunction with your CAD program.
It
contains 8 articulated 3D models of human figures in several
skin tones, various clothing articles and accessories, such as sports items and jewelry.
The program facilitates the selection of models and exchange of model
fabric textures with just a few mouse clicks.
With QPF you can
instantly change the appearance of any figures' attire from business to casual, to sport or
formal.
No re-mapping or other editing in the CAD program is necessary. What would normally
take hours, with QuickPick Figures takes only seconds.
However, QuickPick Figures program requires reasonable skills with your CAD program and you should be familiar with precise placing and rotating objects in your particular program. These skills are essential when placing or exchanging clothing articles or accessories and indispensable when rotating body part into various positions.
How the program works:
The interface consists of series of scrollable windows depicting models, pieces of clothing and applicable textures of fabrics. Clicking on these images will send them to the working directory from which you load them into your CAD scene. You will clothe and animate the figures in your CAD the same way as you would manipulate any other object. To exchange a particular fabric, you would click on the selected fabric in QPF program and you are ready to render your model with your new selection. The model will now render in the selected fabric, until you make change.
You can make hundreds of clothing
combinations on any figure in your scene virtually instantly.

The program contains two types of clothing. Static and
animated. The static clothing is jointed and can be
adjusted according to the body parts position. The animated clothing
is used on figures in motion, e.g. walking or running. It
will accommodate movement to
40 or 50 degree span. (See the dress above.)
The QPF interface also serves as a
model navigator and a pictorial catalog of available models.

Interface options - Four interface options so that you
can work with men or women only or with mixed groups.
General help: Provides help related to insertion and
rotation of body parts and tips for complex animation.
Auto Help: This feature provides instant model-related
information and instruction. The Auto Help can be disabled.
Animate and work with up to 8 figures in the same scene.
Restore default settings: This feature reloads default
textures for the initial figures.
Smart navigation: Provides on-going information about
loaded fabric selection.
